Liam Butcher in revenge stabbing

Liam Butcher learns the bloody side of being in a gang when he’s stabbed in a revenge attack.
The young lad is left bleeding when the gang leader, Kane, knifes him in retaliation for talking to the police.
Determined to test his allegiance to the gang, Liam is ordered to rob money from the local fast food shop.
But when Bianca finds out she’s so horrified she tells the police.
The entire gang are called in for questioning and to Bianca’s horror Liam refuses to talk.
When they are all released the lad does his best to make Kane believe he had nothing to do with the cops.
But Kane doesn’t believe him and gets his revenge.

EastEnders makes me feel like a rockstar!

Danielle Harold says she’s only just getting used to the fame that comes as part of the job when you sign up to EastEnders.
And the actress, who plays young mum Lola Pearce, is loving every second of it.
She says she was stunned when she was surrounded by fans during a recent location shoot.
“All these kids were chanting: ‘We want Lola!’ It was like being a rock star,” she laughed.
“But then Steve McFadden arrived and it changed to: ‘We want Phil!’”
While she may be happy to get attention from fans, Danielle is keeping a sensible head on her shoulders after making the decision never to discuss her private life.
She explained to TV Magazine: “I keep my relationships private. It’s actually quite scary getting recognised, so it’s nice to keep part of my life the same as before. I never wanted to be famous, I just wanted to act.”

Tanya Cross pregnant by Phil Mitchell?

EastEnder Tanya Cross is going to discover she’s pregnant, it has been claimed.
And resident hardman Phil Mitchell is the dad!
It has been reported that the pair - played by Jo Joyner and Steve McFadden - will enjoy a drunken night together after agreeing to a date.

Now the Daily Mail claims Tanya will be left gobsmacked when she later discovers she is pregnant after their one night stand.
The newspaper report states: "EastEnders producers are obviously hoping to spice up the show as sources said there will be disastrous consequences when the couple’s daughters, Abbey and Lauren, discover Tanya is pregnant and Phil could be their new step-dad."
If Tanya does turn out to be pregnant then it’s going to be a double blow for her ex Max.
It was revealed last weekend that his current lover Kirsty will also discover she's pregnent.

Michael Moon quits

EastEnders star Steve John Shepherd has quit the soap.
The actor, who plays creepy Michael Moon, says he feels it’s the right time to be leaving Walford.
Bosses have promised him a dramatic exit from Albert Square.
Steve told the Mirror: "I feel now is the time to move on.
"I have relished every minute of exploring his character - the good and the bad.
"I feel extremely privileged to have had this amazing experience and want to thank everybody - most importantly the fans of the show - for taking Michael and his numerous flaws into their hearts."
EastEnders producer Lorraine Newman added: "The audience will enjoy the dramatic end. With the return of Janine this month, expect plenty of fireworks."

spoiler: Ronnie’s back!

Ronnie Branning may be locked up behind bars but that’s not gonna stop her from sinking her claws into Jack.
Rumour has it that the blonde bombshell, behind bars for kidnapping Tommy Moon, will be the reason Jack and Sharon Rickman never make it down the aisle.
Sharon will be devastated when she discovers that Jack has been secretly meeting with Ronnie in jail.
It is clear that he still has feelings for Ronnie despite all the heartache she put him through.
Ronnie is up for an early release for good behaviour and this could spell trouble for Sharon’s marriage to Jack.
A show insider said: "Has Jack really ever moved on from Ronnie? The fact he’s been seeing her in jail suggests he hasn’t.
"When she’s released he could well take the opportunity of giving their romance another chance.
"Let’s face it, Sharon really only has eyes for Phil after all."

Marry me in 3 weeks!

Sharon Rickman and Jack Branning pop the champagne in the Queen Vic next week after announcing that they are going to marry at the end of the month.
They decide to put the past behind them and become man and wife as soon as possible.
But there’s one woman who isn’t very happy about their news.
Tanya Branning knows about Sharon’s snog with Phil Mitchell and is convinced she still has feelings for him.
She urges her friend to come clean to Jack before the wedding so they don’t start married life on a bed of secrets.
A show insider said: "Sharon’s not about to rock the boat now, she wants to brush everything under the carpet, even if she knows Tanya’s bang on the money."

I won’t let my kids watch gang scenes

Patsy Palmer says she won’t let her kids watch upcoming scenes in EastEnders because they could be too upsetting.
Fans will see her Walford character Bianca Jackson take on a gang that have recruited her son Liam.
Bianca will storm round to a local estate to try and get Liam away from their clutches.
Although the scenes have been given the green light to be shown before the watershed, Patsy says she won’t let her sons watch.

She said: “I’m not sure I’m going to let them watch these episodes. My 12-year-old boy is quite sensitive so I think he’d be a bit scared.
“I think my two-year-old quite likes EastEnders – at the moment he plays this game where he points at the screen and says, “name?” And I say, “EastEnders name or real name?” The other day I brought him in to work and he pointed at Shane Richie and said, “Alfie!”
“So he’s working it all out. I must look quite scary to him when he sees me on the telly, what with all the shouting and the outfit and the earrings. Especially the earrings.”
Bianca maybe struggle to keep control of her son but Patsy reckons she knows what the secret is.
She told Radio Times: “As a parent, I think you need to be firm and stick to it. But I am married and that is a massive factor because I have the support of my husband. But I still find it hard even though I live in a nice place and I’ve got this really good job.
“So God help people in Bianca’s position who don’t have that support.”

Never watched eastenders

Lacey Turner  has revealed that she has rarely watched EastEnders.

The actress played Stacey Slater on the BBC soap from 2004 to 2010. She explained that she didn't like watching herself while she was in the soap, and still does not tune in today.

"I didn't even watch it while I was in it! You don't have time and once you've been there for 14 hours you don't want to," she told Radio Times.

"Now I mostly watch TV at night, in bed after a cup of hot chocolate, and at the moment I'm really, really into The Following with Kevin Bacon."

The Our Girl actress also spoke about her upbringing, and how it helped her land a leading role on EastEnders.

She said: "When I was 14, I worked on a market stall near where it's filmed. I used to see the actors drive past and say to my mum, 'I'm telling you, I can do that!'

"So it's weird that I ended up playing Stacey who also sold clothes on the market, although she was better at it than I was."

Turner will play molly in Tony Grounds's single 90-minute drama Our Girl, a film about a woman who joins the Royal Army Medical Corps and heads to the war in Afghanistan. It airs on March 24 at 9pm on BBC One.

Ricky Norwood - who plays Fatboy in EastEnders - recently called for Turner to return to the soap as Stacey.

Melissa Suffield 'bullied': 'I was scared for my life'

Former EastEnders star Melissa Suffield has revealed she was bullied during her time on the soap.

The actress, who played Lucy Beale from the age of 11, admitted that she faced a barrage of threats and foul-mouthed abuse on her way to work everyday.

"I was relentlessly bullied by a group of girls – it was systematic, grim and really nasty," she said to The Mirror.

"I was spat at and got chased home also. God knows what would have happened if they had caught up with me.

"It was so alien and strange and I tried to put on a brave face – I didn't know how to deal with it."

Suffield, who has never spoken out about her bullying ordeal before, believes that her attackers were confusing her with her troubled screen character.

"They were like, 'There's Luce, let's get her'. It was so upsetting and so frequent. I was pushed nearly on to the [train] tracks. I feared for my life," she recalled.

"I was genuinely terrified. I tried to put on a brave face but inside I was petrified. I thought they wanted to kill me."
